A few sketches from bali

We were in Bali for a conference for 7 days and then stayed for another three days after the conference for some R and R.

Below is just a part of the conference. There were about 300 people there. We were late getting to the start of it this day so we had to sit in the back. I took advantage of it and decided to sketch.
This is he beach right outside of the hotel where the conference was being held. The tide would go waaaaay out past the rocks (the darker scribbles toward the back) and it would leave the coral reef exposed. We were able to walk out on it and explore the life that was teaming in the tidal pools left behind. My son loved it. He was out there everyday.
This is a "board" walk to the left of the boat you see above. It's actually made of concrete. It had a round about at the end with a "stage" in the center where people would watch the sunrise/sunset, talk or do Yoga. I was sitting on the rail sketching. The right is the walkway and the left goes into the ocean.
